When Diana first contacted me about shooting her small & intimate wedding at Pretty Place Chapel, I was immediately elated. Pretty Place is one of the most beautiful places for weddings in the southeast! The chapel is on the blue ridge parkway and offers an incredible mountain view from the chapel. It truly is stunning! […]

2017 was such a fantastic year for Kingsbridge Photography!!! I was able to travel to Kiawah Island, Texas, New York, and Maine for weddings, as well as many weddings in my hometown of Greenville, SC!! I also went full time in photography in August!! Today I’m sharing some of my favorite photos from my 2017 […]
I am SO excited to share this wedding with you today!! Victoria & Zachary were married on December 17 at Larkin’s On The River, and I couldn’t be happier for them!! Victoria & Zachary are such a fun and easygoing couple! It rained on the day of their engagement photos, but they didn’t let that […]
Rachel & Chad’s winter wedding on Saturday was nothing short of beautiful! Rachel chose the most lovely red dresses for her bridesmaids, and she looked like a real life Disney Princess in her stunning ballgown dress! And don’t miss the florals! TWIGS did a fabulous job, as always! The afternoon light filled the chapel with […]
I am just so excited to share these images with you today! Kristin and Mike are the sweetest couple and I couldn’t be happier for them. I had the best time getting to know the two of them at their engagement session in March. You can view that post here! Their day finally arrived. Kristin […]
I met Joanna and Isaiah independently from each other while I was in college. I met Isaiah first because we were the same major! When I came back from grad school, I struck up a friendship with Joanna and heard that they were dating! I was so happy that the two of them found each other! Most of Joanna and Isaiah’s relationship was long distance, so Joanna and I would often chat about the difficulties of long distance relationships. After the wedding, Joanna kept jumping up and down and exclaiming, “we’re married!!” They were just so happy to finally be together. No more Starbucks Skype Dates. No more longing to be with the person you love that’s thousands of miles away. They were finally married and together!!!
There were so many special moments at this wedding. Since Alexandra and Chase decided on an evening wedding, we were able to capture the most beautiful sunset portraits! On a typical wedding day, my portrait time with the couple is in the morning or during the afternoon, so it is such a treat when we get to have our whole portrait session during golden hour! We were blessed with such beautiful weather and a gorgeous sunset. One of my favorite moments was the dance between Alexandra and her dad. Alexandra’s mother’s family is from Mexico, and they are all such superb dancers! What started out as a typical sweet dance between father and daughter turned into a high-energy choreographed dance! The guests loved it!
Sam & Susie were married on July 15! I met Susie at her sister’s wedding that I photographed last year (you can find Becky & Patrick’s post here). I absolutely loved getting to work with her family again and have to admit that I’m pretty sad there aren’t anymore Heiser sisters for me to photograph!
Their personalities came through in little fun touches throughout the day! Their guestbook was a bench with their initial on it, instead of champagne they opted for cream soda in honor of their first date, and they had a confetti exit (don’t worry, it was biodegradable)! The sweetest touch of all was that the buttons on the back of Susie’s dress were handmade by her great grandmother for her grandmother’s wedding! I am so excited for them to see this blog post, and to share it with all of you! Congratulations Sam & Susie!
I had the awesome opportunity to photograph this fabulous reception in Downtown Greenville for my former cello teacher, Laura, and her new hubs, JT. Laura is half of the cello and guitar duo, WireWood. If you’ve been to a lot of weddings in Greenville, I’m sure you’ve heard them! This time it was Laura’s turn to celebrate, and celebrate she did! The food was incredible, the florals were superb, the music was stellar, and the party was epic!
Since Laura plays for so many weddings, I’m sure she knows that nothing is more awkward than a dance floor with only 5-10 people dancing while everyone else sits around! She made sure that didn’t happen! She dragged all of her friends and family onto the dance floor, sometimes against their will, all with a huge smile on her face. It made for some of the most fun dancing I’ve ever seen at a reception! I loved how she made sure all of her friends felt welcome and involved!
